Dinner Prep

Do you ever just get home after a long day at work and just don't have the energy to start making dinner?!? I know we have all been there at some point or another.

Having all the food available but then you have to prep everything before you can actually get started. You have the animals at your heals needing your attention. You hear the kids in the background wanting your attention. Your significant other comes through the door and asks what's for dinner. If your like me you are about to pull your hair out because you literally just got home from work and all you want to do is sit and decompress from the day.

I have found by having a meal plan even if it's just a few nights a week makes the next days dinner more manageable. Take the time and meal prep your food, doesn't have to be anything fancy but if you can save yourself a little time the next night in between sports, school functions or whatever life is throwing at you at that time... You will see that making dinner isn't such a chore.

Get some containers, grab that cutting board and your preferred cutting utensil and get the process started. I've even gone as far as cooking whatever meat we choose for the next meal and having that on hand as well. It is such a time saver when it comes to being in a rush and needing to get something on the table. Not only that but by having prepped food you have less dishes to worry about as well. Makes dinner quick, easy and the clean up a breeze.

The great thing is to when you have left overs from dinner that is the next days lunch, I mean how much easier does it get than that. Save time, money ( you aren't eating out) and your stress on worrying what your gonna make.
Here are a few recipes that I'm sure will wow the fam...
